My Ob said massages were fine during all stages of pregnancy when I asked - just avoid the pressure points and oils as PP have suggested

I agree with pesca... I've been told they're fine.

To be on the safe side, use plain oils and just get a neck, shoulders & back one. Also drink plenty of room temperature water after the massage to remove the toxins from your body.

    Enjoy!

I went to Vietnam when I was 10 weeks preg, and just had heaps of pedicures, manicures, shoulder and neck massages, scalp massages and hair conditioning treatments to make up for not being comfortable with getting full body massages

thanks for all your suggestions and input ... much appreciated.

I ended up having a pedicure & also found a (not so cheap) spa, that was 'experienced' with pregnancy massage and i had a very gentle should/neck massage with a non scented lotion (no oils). it was bliss

    Thanks All
