Take every night as a new one, and learn not to expect anything!!!!

If you have a baby that consistenly sleeps through the night before 12mnths, I'd be ecstatic!!! But remember, things change... teething, colds, illness, growth spurts, weather... can all have an impact on changing a babies sleeping pattern.

Yay for a good nights sleep!!!!!

(My youngest is 2.5yrs old, eldest is 5yrs, and I haven't slept through the night consistently for over 5yrs.... you get used to it!!)

Like the other ladies said, babies sleep patterns always change. Last week little man would cry until 9pm or even 12am and then fall asleep exhausted. He's now. Ack to his 7pm-7am sleeps

Izzy slept 8.5-10 hrs from 5weeks to 6mths when she was fully breastfed. Then I started solids and her sleep stuffed up. She was getting up 3-4 times a night. Finally she went back to sleeping through at 14mths.

    All in her own time...

    Enjoy it whilst it lasts.

Both of my kids started sleeping through at about 9 months. I have no idea why that number is magic but I'm not going to question it!!

DD1 slept 8hrs a night from when she was 6 weeks to 3months. She started waking for feeds again and then slept 12 hrs a night from 6 months.
DD2 didn't sleep through until 9 months. And then only with some "encouragement" from us.
DS is 9 and a half weeks old and still wakes a couple of times a night. He settles quickly after a feed though. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he'll drop a feed soon.
Enjoy the extra sleep while it lasts!
