Default How long into your relationship did you start TTC?

Just out of curiosity, how long were you together with your partner before you started TTC?
If re-partnered (and already had children), did you TTC sooner with your new partner sooner than with your ex?

DH and I had been together 9 years and married just over a year when we started TTC.
When I say 9 years it sounds like a long time but it didn't feel like it. We were pretty busy I finished Uni, we travelled, bought our house and renovated, got our two dogs, got engaged, planned the wedding, travelled some more then decided we were ready.

We started unofficially after 5 months, and actively after 9 months. That was over 3.5 years ago, and still nothing. I already had a DD from a previous relationship who was 5 at the time.

EXP and I fell pregnant before we coupled, we had a one night stand that resulted in DS1, though he was much wanted and EXP and I went on to have a 4yr relationship and DS2 (who was planned)

Current DP also has a son, who was also the result of casual sex.

We have been together over a year, but known each other for 12years. We first started TTC in Augast last year, so we had been together 10months. I fell pregnant, but it resulted in an ectopic. We put it on hold and have just started trying again.

We'd been together around 9 months when we started actively TTC. Had been living together since around a month or so of 'officially dating'.
i know alot of people dont believe it, but when you know, you know!

About 4 years I guess, but it felt like much longer for some reason... We'd known each other for years before we started "dating", and had moved in together a month or so after that. Got engaged after about 3 -4 years and started TTC a few months later
