Our 3.5yo he has discovered that touching it is 'fun'. I have to try and be 'adult' whilst the 13yo inside of me is snickering. We are having the 'if you want to touch your penis that is ok, but you need to do it alone, not in teh lounge in full view'. Distraction works well too.

OP I would do as a PP said and check whilst he is asleep. If you are concerned ask your GP or at your next MCH check

Lol yes my boys had them all the time, and its worst when they pre in the air.
I had a giggle to myself with one post on here about play doh, I know what you mean. In summer my boys would be nudie at home all the time, I remember my boys trying to balance things on their Willy.
It's not a sexual thing as toddlers, more just curious about their anatomy.

My boys think their "bits" are their best friends. They have gotten erections from a very young age. I always thought it was the norm.

OP, just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it hasn't happened.

Yup my DS (3 in April) gets them all the time.. He actually quite enjoys them I think as most males do... Lol
He got them from when he was a little baby.
The sleepy nappy changes & it pops up are the worst, I've had to call DH in to help because I couldn't hold it down & put the nappy on at the same time!

They sure do. No one told me when I was pregnant either, so like Homestar, I was shocked when it first happened! I now take it upon myself to warn everyone I know who has a boy

OP, I don't know what age is normal, but like other posters, my DS has had them from a very young age. Like others have suggested, I would ask your Dr or CHN and see what they say.
