    Default Solids

This is my third baby and for some reason i have forgotten all about solids

I tried feeding him some farex which he HATED. So I have pureed up some sweet potato to try this arvo. My question is, where do I go from here. When do I introduce a second and then a third meal?

And how much should they be having. I feel like such a twit having forgot all this stuff. I am going to blame third baby syndrome, i swear I kill a few more brain cells each time i have a baby

My second bub is eight months now, and I'd totally forgotten what to do about solids! There is a really handy link on bub hub somewhere which goes to the solids section on the cyh.com website. It's great, I refer to it frequently! If you can't find it I can pm you the link.

look at 'baby led solids', just let bub eat from your plate or offer foods that he can grab in his hand and see how he goes. e.g. steamed broccoli 'trees', steamed carrot sticks, toast fingers, watermelon, cucumber sticks..

I also agree with having a look at baby led weaning - how old is your bubba?

I only have one son so by no means an expert but I recommend baby led weaning also.
