    My sister (age 5ish) was playing cards next to a sleeping German shepherd (in adults presence) and all of a sudden it bit her on the arm. It was just like the PP said, my sister was making fast, jerky movements while she was playing. She wasn't touching or interacting with the dog at all.

    I have been bitten by three dogs in my life - 2 shepherds (different to the one above) and a poodle.

    I don't like them, they freak me out now, but I'm not a fan of dogs anyway.
