Default Timing for panadol and nurofen

I have a 2cm complex ovarian cyst (part solid and part fluid). I found out before Christmas but the earliest I could get in to my Gyno is the 18th of Jan (next wed). The pain has been on and off but today is quite bad and I'm taking panadol every 4hrs like the chemist told me to but it's not really working. I had the last lot at 6pm, can I take nurofen now or do I need to wait a bit longer. I'd really like to get the pain under control as I'm really not keen on going to ER and would rather wait and see my Gyno.

    TIA

Ive been told because they are different drugs u can take them
At the same time. Then 4 hourly panadol and 6 hr nurofen. If your unsure you could ring one of the medical lines?

Hope you find some comfort soon xoxo

Agree with above. You can always double check by phoning poisons information

I hope you get some relief

That's right, you can take those two together (worked in pharmacy for many years so I'm sure on this ) and then follow the hourly doses of each as PP said.

    Hope you're feeling better soon

Thank you, I took the panadol at 6pm and have just taken two nurofen as I'm really uncomfortable, fingers crossed that and bed will calm it all down.
