Default 5.5 weeks pregant and pressure type feeling on cervix?

    Hi everyone!

I have just joined :-) I found out I was pregant with #2 a few days ago, and by my calculations in about 5.5 weeks. I have a doctors appt for next week but I have a concern that I was unsure about.

The past few days I have ha a pressure type feeling in my vagina/ cervix. It feels like a bearing down type feeling on and off. It doesn't hurt but it feels uncomfortable. I never had this with my DS. I have had mild cramping down one side (not even mild... I can just feel that somethings happening on one side and I had that with DS so I'm not worried about that).

I am just worried the cervix thing might be a sign I might loose the bub :-( is this normal and my body adjusting or do I need to get it checked out ASAP?!

Any advice or experience with this?

    Hi CandyWife,

I am 6wks 1day and have had the same thing on and off since i got my pos HPT. Apparently it is your uterus stretching and pulling and as its grows it also puts pressure on all things down inside there, I am sure that's what the discomfort is from.

Please feel free to come over and join us in the "Due in September Group" thread which is in this section of the forum.

    Congratulations on your BFP
