Probably the bit about 'killing unborn babies' was OTT, but asking for your meat to be packed seperate is reasonable IMO!

Like others have said it's all about the tone used, body language etc

Every time I go shopping I have to say something to the check out operators as I don't like when they mix white meat with red meat in the same bags!! Most of the time they role their eyes at me but I really couldn't care!!!
I have also had one girl pack that many things in one bag when I picked it up to put it in the trolley it all fell out the bottom of the bag!!! I always politely ask them not to pack that much stuff or make the bags too heavy as I have to walk about 250 Metres from my car to the house (live on acreage) and sometimes by the time I get to the house the bag is starting to break plus it's not hard too see that in pregnant!!

Eew no not unreasonable!! What you said I think was maybe a bit rude?

I usually just say. "can you put x in another bag" the killing inborn babies thing was not necessary.

Meh, I couldn't care less how my stuff is packed. I wouldn't buy leaky chicken anyway. The orange juice is sealed so I think your being a bit over the top. But if it bothers you then it's fine to say something, but like others have said, the unborn baby bit is probably unnecessary. And also ridiculously unlikely.

Maybe she didnt say something cos she was embarrassed?

I totally see your point - but if it was me I might have been like 'oh hey do you mind putting the meat all in one bag?'

I don't think you were being a hormonal b itch I'm a bit OCD with raw chicken and being pregnant even more so. *Maybe* the way you said it could have been a bit narky but there's nothing wrong with that when it's an actual health hazard as opposed to ' I didn't want pickle on my burger' iykwim?

My granny embarrasses me when we go out but she's old, deaf, loud and rude. I don't think You were rude at all.

Ahh no, it is dangerous and ANNOYS me when I see them doing it even when its others groceries. I put stuff on the register in sections and sometimes they still put cleaning products in with my hams from the deli! Surely they would have training telling them NOT to mix certain products

How would chicken juice get into a 2ltr drink container? And wouldn't the ham be double wrapped (in plastic and paper) if it was from the deli?
Sure, you have every right to say something but it seems rather OTT to me.
