    Default Strider plus bassinet

Quick question - can the second seat still go on the strider when the bassinet is on?

    Apparently, yes!!!!

We used the baby carrier and the second seat and it was no worries, apart from the fact DD2 HATED the carrier, LOL...

Hmm yeah, I've seen it with the capsule - but we don't have a car. I might need to email them and double check.

Personally, I wouldn't have worried about the capsule if I knew how crap it was - we hired it and unfortunately (and obviously) it wasn't anywhere near as nice as the ones at the shop, LOL...

I probably would have used the bassinet maybe, DD1 would have probably just kicked her little sister though, LOL...

Oh that's no good it wasnt as nice as the store one.

Another reason for me to get the bassinet is I need to replace my bassinet mattress - as it's 28 years old & I'm figuring it may just be easier to replace the bassinet than fit a mattress to it. & if a strider bassinet would sit on the stand I have that would be perfect. (didn't occur to me but someone from my due in group is doing it)

And looking at the main seat it just doesn't lay flat enough for a newborn (it's the bucket seat style, like a car seat) and I walk a lot so bub's may end up in it a lot. Plus then, easy for traveling I don't need to take a porta-cot.

And I'll just sell in it 6 months.

That sounds like a pretty good plan, even when you go to parties/dinners etc, it will be handy to just take the bassinet... And if it doesn't fit on your stand you could always just use the Strider frame ad your 'stand' in any event.

I would. But the strider probably wouldn't fit in our room. Lol. (actually - strike that - it wont fit in our room. Lol)

If it doesn't I'd probably just put it on the floor. We had Jasper's bassinet on the floor because I could just lay in bed staring at him (if he wasn't in bed with me already that is!)

They got back to me - that was quick!

They don't recommend using the second seat with the bassinet, don't recommend using the bassinet overnight AND it doesn't come in pink. Wahhhhh

Boobycino, do you know if a new bassinet would fit an old (2008) strider?

I have a bassinet but think it might be mouldey beyond redemption due to poor storage.

I don't know. I know the DXL is compatible though.
