    I know stress can affect the baby, but not sure to what extent, I think its more to do with the hormones etc over a period of time.

    i dont think you need to worry too much but you could speak to your doctor about it, see what they say.

    I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks. They were at their peak about the time I was pregnant with DD2. I was put on medication in the third trimester, which reduced them somewhat, but had had them almost daily (or at least a few times a week) before then. She turned out fine. A strong, smart little girl who is more chilled than her mother!

    Are you seeing someone about the attacks? Do you know your triggers?

    I have suffered panic attacks and generalized anxiety. I can totally understand how debilitating they are. When I was pregnant last year I asked my GP if they affected the baby and the doctor said no. Though she did say obviously stress is not good for general health. I actually went to some hypnotherapy and practiced using relaxation/hypnotherapy as like a guided meditation that the hypnotherapist gave me on CD. Doing this in addition to what I learnt years ago in therapy for it helped reduce them quite a bit, though not altogether. But definitely improved. Have you thought about trying something like that? I hope you can find something that will work for you. Panic attacks are so scary. Hugs to you.
