    Default Luggage

    Hi ladies

I just want to make sure I'm not taking too much luggage with me to the hospital. I'm a first time mum so it's all very new to me.

I have one of those little suitcases that the airlines class as "hand luggage" for my clothes, a backpack for the pads, toiletries bag etc and bubs nappy bag. So 3 bags all up.

    Is that ok?

I had similar with my first, an overnighter/carry on bag with my gear in it, (I had my toiletries in here too), a backpack with baby's stuff in it and I had a nappy bag to put my pads and the baby's nappies in etc and my handbag.

With my next two, I downsized, to just an overnighter bag (carried my dressing gown) and a nappy bag with the baby's clothes/products and nappies in. I didn't bring my handbag, I just put my purse and phone in my luggage.

Don't forget (if you're going public) to bring your medicare card with you if you don't have it in your purse.

    I think that's pretty reasonable!

I have 2 bags packed, a small suitcase and then a backpack. It seems alot but can't really cut it down. Even if I have packed too much it's better to have too much then not have something that you end up really wanting.
