I didn't go to a practitioner. The day after my due date, DF and I just looked it up online and he massaged to acupressure points on my feet. I also bounced on the fit ball for about 3 fifteen minute sessions. Went into proper labour about 11pm, DD was born at 5.30am the next morning.

I had acupuncture and it worked. Had it done at 3pm, by 7pm was having mild contractions but then they went away. Next day though I went in to proper labour and had DS.

I just went to my local Chinese therapists in the shopping centre that do massage, acupuncture etc Only cost $40 so was well worth it and no pain as they dont actually put pressure on the spots, just dry needling (painless).

how many weeks pregnant are you? induction techniques only work if your body and baby are ready for labour.

hope you get some movement soon.
