Was just curious as to how long the Positive OPKs are meant to last, I know everyone's different of course but I never would have considered myself to be quiet that fertile! :-/

I googled it after my 3 days cause I thought that's was too long and I think up to 4days is normal. But don't quote me on it.

Well ladies I have just come from my appointment with FS and I must say he is THE nicest Dr I have seen yet. His bedside manner is 2nd to none.

Good news is he doesn't think I have PCOS and even if I do it must be mild as there are no cysts on my ovaries and my hormone levels are good. The chocolate cyst which is endometriosis has reduced in size since last scan in November so he thinks this is just a blood clot and not actually endo because if it was it wouldn't reduce in size. He says my age is good because I am only 31 and even though DH has had dodgy sperm in past, he also has had good ones so it might be sometimes they are good and sometimes not so good so he needs to have regular testing.

The plan for me - is to have regular follicle monitoring via internal ultrasound starting on day 11 of my cycle plus more blood tests on day 1 or 2 of next cycle. He wants to see what my body will do on its own in a cycle and whether I am O'ing on my own. If I do have a good follicle growing he will give me a trigger injection and get DH and I to DTD for next few days to see if we can get a BFP on our own.

If I am not O'ing on my own after a couple of cycles we will move forward to clomid etc etc.

I feel very positive and so happy he is such a nice person. To top it off I lost another 1kg this week, so that makes 12kg gone to date!!!
