How are you going with the waiting Becca? How many tww have you had previously? This is only my second so I'm trying not to get my hopes up but still trying to be positive - iykwim? I don't know what I'll do if I get a BFP though cause then it's a long wait to 12 weeks!!

Hello, is anybody here who just recently got into TWW period? Today is my 3DPO. This is only my first cycle with FSH+hCG, but I’m already going nuts... (eating junk like crazy, not concentrate on work at all, can’t do activities I used to love, etc.) My mind is occupied with fertility, and can’t do anything else (don’t feel like to do anything!). I know there are lots of people here who have been through this much more times, but I just need some kind of help. How do you all cope with this frustration!? Should I get a counseling? But does it really help? I just want to quit job and disappear somewhere…i'm so sorry for such negative thinking

Greenfairy, I'm actually doing okay with this TWW. I had a meltdown on Monday night, that was out of frustration with how hard this whole journey has been for us. I'm okay with the TWW itself (for now anyway, it's still early days for me.
I was ovulation on my own, and also with clomid before the injections but I was ovulating as late as 28 days some cycles and my cycles were just all over the place.. So I have had quite a few TWW, I'd say about 12 now. However, this is my first TWW on FSH injections. Where abouts are you withyour cycle at the moment? Do you have much more of a wait until AF is due?
I have to go in on Friday morning for blood tests so they confirm that I have actually ovulated..

Chats, I'm sorry that you feel like this. I think all of us in our position have our rough patches. For me, I just get a 'sad' feeling and in the end I have a cry, write an entry about how it sucks that it's this hard in my online diary and I'm usually feeling a little better the next day.
It might be worth seeing a counsellor, I actually considered it on Sunday when I had a really emotional day as well but I woke up feeling okay yesterday. I don't know how I did it but I think I've been able to get myself to the point that I know no amount of worrying will help this process so I just have to keep going with whatever happens. That's helped me alot but as I said, I still do have my 'meltdown days' where I have a cry about it all.. I hope you're able to find your way of not being so stressed about it all *hugs*

Hang in there chats. I'm 5dpo today and itching to know the outcome too so we can wait together
I've got no advice, just try and stay busy - you'd be going more crazy if you were sitting home with nothing else to think about. I personally am having some serious cramping today and am hoping like hell it's implantation but only time will tell.

Try and organise something good for the weekend with DP or friends so you've got something else to look forward to. Remember too even if you get a BFP you then have another 10 weeks to wait for your all clear then another 24 or so weeks to wait for bub!! The waiting never ends so just try (so hard I know) and enjoy each step of the ride. I find it helpful to plan my next cycle so I know exactly what's next if it's a BFN then that way a BFP will just be a bonus. Happy to have someone to wait with, whinge away

Greenfairy you're a few days ahead of Chats and I but we're all not very far apart time-wise. It's good to have a couple of others in the same boat.

    Hi ladies

Just found this thread today so I thought I'd just introduce myself. DH and I have been ttc #1 for the past 30 months. After trying hopefully for a little over 2 years we finally saw a FS who has told us that DH has very low count and motility. I also have insulin resistance which FS put me on Metformin for.

Anyway, cut to right now. We're in the midst of our first cycle of ICSI and I am terrified/excited/hopeful. I've never been a fan of needles and was REALLY worried about having to be jabbed on a daily basis but, at day 12 of injections now, I am proud to say I'm doing the needles MYSELF

My doctor has me on a Gonal f injection at 125 daily and we're just waiting for our follies to get big enough for collection. I had my second ultrasound yesterday and I have 2 follicles at 11 and several smaller ones.

Any ideas how long it might take for follicles to go from 11 to 16-17? My FS says I need to be at 16-17 before I can start Orgalutran and book in for egg collection.

Anyhow, I look forward to chatting with you ladies and for all of us to get those ASAP!

Thank you Becca, greenfairy. I can't survive TTC without you, really. I'm so glad to be here in this thread. I don't have any friends nearby who I can talk about my problem. I can't talk with my Mom, either. My good friend is 3-mo pregnant now (great news, but tough for me at this moment...) My DH would listen to me (he actually does) but he doesn't really understand my frustration. He thinks that a baby will come when it's the right time...

Hi ladies, how are you all coping?

I had my first round of bloods & scans this morning. It took the pathology nurse 4 times to get my blood as my veins go into hiding at the thought, but we got there in the end. I am currently CD10 and day 5 of injections. Quite a few small follicles on the right ovary but 1 big 13mm follicle on the left. FS is happy with the progress and they are sending me for more bloods and possible scan on Thursday. Hopefully it will continue to grow and we can trigger maybe Friday, IUI on Saturday...

I hope those of you in the TWW aren't going too crazy. For a BFP soon.
