At least if you're doing the pessaries rectally you don't have to clean out the residue from them! That was the worst part, the clumpy, cottage cheesy stuff! Yuck! Plus, you won't irritate your cervix.
Must ask FS if he approves of the rectal method next time...
My FS recommends rectally even tho the pack said 'vaginal pessary'... Quite glad now.. Seems much easier!
I'm still jabbing away I do 300 in the morning 300 night and a lh shot everyday,

Just called the hospital and looks like I have to take a break this cycle. Im already half an hour late to work but trying to compose myself in my car before going in.
Aw Becca hang in there. I know it's all so hard but a break may be really good just to chill out for a month and enjoy not having appointments and thinking about all this stuff. 4 weeks will fly by and you'll be back into it before you know it. Chin up and have a great day

I wish it was that easy Greenfairy. The shortest cycle I have ever had is 36 days so it will be close to 2 months minimum before we can even get started again. I don't want to take time out. It's just wasting time that we could be progressing with things. Nit having appointments and drugs will make me more anxious because Ill have no idea what's happening with my body and when (even if) to expect my next period. I deal so much better with this knowing what's happening.
Not sure if you're keen on herbal stuff Becca but maybe try taking vitex (or something similar). I did when we were starting ttc as my first cycle off the pill was 50 days! The one after was much shorter. Do a quick google search and read up a bit before you decide to take it but it has worked for me to shorten my cycles in the past.
Hi Ladies. I am new here. I did linger a few years ago but am now in the Fertility specialist process. A little about me........
My husband and I have been TTC for 2 years and are now in our first IUI cycle. I have a blood test tomorrow and will most likely be inseminated (God I sound like a cow lol) on Wed.
Does anyone know many cases of success on IUI? The reason I ask is, I am thinking of asking for IVF if this rounds of IUI is not successful. I just figure that I will have a much better chance of conceiving with IVF and would love to get the ball rolling. My FS has our plan that we are on 3 cycles of IUI and if that doesn't work then onto IVF. I'm just impatient and would rather go straight to IVF if this IUI doesn't work.
But time will tell. Waiting, waiting, waiting.
Crossing fingers that we all get a BFP soon ladies xxx
