Littedove, I can understand your frustration.. Especially after being upped 3 times. Things are progressing in there.

Karma, I'm sorry I have nothing to say but *big hugs* (again - your situation really sucks. I just truly hope that things start looking up for you soon.)

Tantom, Yay for starting the injections Hopefully this is a positive cycle for you.

I'm starting round 4 today on 87.5. Got told on tues that seeing we don't have any other diagnosed issues at this point (other than ovulation) fs doesn't want to worry about iui yet. Quoted stats about 55% in our age group get preg Within 3 cycles, 70% after 6 and 85% after 12. Ive only had 3 so we've got 3 more timed intercourse cycles before Christmas and if nothing's happened then we're doing further investigation with a lap. I guess I'm ok with that. Least she didn't make me try 6 clomid cycles first, I've got half a chance with TI.

Where is everyone else at? Becca - still waiting? Littledove - I hope you're hanging in there and I hope there's good news tomorrow. Hope everyone else is traveling ok. Two more days til the weekend

Hey greenfairy, those are interesting stats, you've made me feel quite a bit better about stuff now, thanks. Sounds like a good plan you've got going forwards, let's hope cycle 4 is a winner!

AFM I've got my next scan tomorrow. It got changed to 6.15am so it'll be an early night tonight. Hope everyone is alright

Greenfairy, you're so lucky that they let you do continuous cycles. I'm supposed to do one on, one off. When AF came I called and spoke to a nurse about just starting again right away as im worried how long I might be waiting if I'm not taking anything to make me ovulate. She spoke to the dr who said I was ok to start again as long as I came for bloods and scans and everything was baseline. Luckily it was but I don't know what they'll do this time around. Its so interesting the different ways different FS do things - our FS started us on IUI cycles on our first round of injections. Hubby's sperm is great but FS said IUI would increase our chances.

Yes, im still waiting. I have until Monday. I'm feeling absolutely normal though so I have a feeling im in for another bfn.

Littledove, that's a really early scan! Hope you get some good news though.

Yeah I have to have a scan before I start and also got told to do a hpt just to be sure (cause I didn't bother doing any this last cycle). Im pleased I can do back to back but at the same time I can't wait for dec/jan when I know I'm having a break from everything. I started clomid in march and haven't had a cycle off since.

Regarding iui I was all geared up and keen to get into it but I guess if we can do it without that's prob better and I can't say I'm sorry not to have the extra cost. DP is happy and I guess 3 more months in the scheme of things isn't long. Just gotta be patient ha!

Agree that it's good to hear how other fs work and know that you're on the right track or similar to others

Oh and littledove I'm pleased you're happy to hear those stats they are for normal ovulating cycles. So while I've been off the pill for a while I've only actually ovulated 3 times so rest of the time doesn't really count.

I guess I'm in the 15% of our age group that have nothing but BFN's after 12 cycles! I would have had about 9 (pretty long/irregular) cycles before starting on Clomid. Did Clomid for 5 cycles and now this is our second injection/IUI cycle. Maybe that's why my FS recommended starting out with IUI, because despite my cycles being irregular, I was still o'ing.. Just not getting any BFP's!

We're so so lucky in the respect that IUI is not costing us anything. It's all covered by Medicare. The only thing that's not covered for us is the sperm wash for the IUI, which is about $130.00. We still haven't got the bill for the first one and when we went in for the second, the guy said don't go chasing it as dpending who's doing the paperwork, sometimes they don't even bother sending bills out! He also said that it could just be one that will take a couple of months to be sent out.. We're happy to pay it if we do get billed though because apart from parking at the hospital, we haven't had to pay anything for all of this.

If you don't mind me asking Becca, how come Medicare cover everything for your cycles? It's costing us more than a grand a cycle for IUI but we get about half back from Medicare. I still don't totally get Medicare being from England
