I'm not sure about the dosage KarmaJane? You're not doing IVF are you? I started on 50 then 75 now 87.5 but I have very scary ovaries and I guess it's easier to increase if need be but once I'm over stimulated it's all over that cycle.

My fs gets frustrated when I mention anything from forum and says every person is different and every fs has their own way of doing things. I guess as long as you're getting ovulation of one or two follies you're getting the outcome we all want - doesn't matter what they do to get you there

Super exciting to have two big follies Missy84!! I'm a little bit jealous I must say fingers crossed for you. Sounds like there will be a few of us waiting patiently together next week.

Greenfairy, we're doing ICSI. Hubby has low count and motility so we need the help there

So maybe thats why I'm on a high dose. Cause I guess they want me to get more than 1 or 2 eggs and multiples aren't a danger.

Well done on those follies, Missy! Good luck with the TTW

Yep that's why you're on a high dose (though still low for IVF/ icsi for same reason of over stimming) You kinda want the opposite to all of us - a larger number of eggs (but not too many) for a retrieval and freezing where we all just want one or two for insemination or timed sex and hoping for the best. It's all such a process isn't it.

Blah it's 11:39 here now and way past my bed time but just saw on fb other friends are now expecting and now I can't sleep. I hope one day I'm gonna wake up and this sh!te will all be over. Guess the thing on our side is we aren't married or engaged yet so noone expects us to be utd or trying.

A few work ppl know what we're going through and my mum and sisters know but not DP's family and not friends. I'm lucky my work is in the city close to my fs so I just try make my appts first up before work or later in the arv and come and go from work as I please, noone seems to have noticed all my appointments yet?

I try so hard to stay positive about it all but these setbacks do wear you down don't they. Not much I can do though, just gotta stick at it and trust my turn WILL come

Greenfairy, that's so true for all of us - there's really nothing we can do but hope for the best.

I'm lucky that my FS is not too far from work either so I usually make all my appointments for 7.30 or 8am and I can make it to work by 8.30am. Sometimes I can't get in that early so I come to work a little late. I haven't actually told my boss exactly what's going on. I had a day off to see the specialist once and was honest about that. I told her then that I'd need to start late/finish early some days the following month as I have to start injections cos my cycles are all over the place and they need to do bloods/scans to monitor me. I know I probably should tell her exactly what's happening (I think she may have either assumed or been told by someone else - a couple of people in the office know). I'm thinking that the next IUI will possibly fall one day late next week and I'll probably take the day off for that so I guess I should use that as my opportunity to tell her..

My bloods hadn't really changed since Tuesday either so I'm back up to 75 again. Next scans and bloods on Monday - I think 4 days is the longest I've been between tests!

Brilliant news, kids! Had my U/S this morning and we have 2 beautiful fat follies there, ready to go! One of them is 18.5mm and the other is around 17mm

Took my orgalutron shot this morning, another tomorrow morning and trigger tomorrow night for a Monday collection. So excited!

My boss did put a dampener on my joy though. She's not real happy I need Monday off because she already told a couple of others they couldn't have rec leave Monday as we're short staffed. But I don't care. It's personal leave. For SURGERY. So I'm having it off whether she likes it or not. Not my fault she let too many people have rec leave without leaving room for personal leave. I tried to do the right thing rather than just calling in sick. Gah! Can't please everyone.

Still, so stoked we haven't missed it

That is such awesome news Karma! for you. I feel the same about my work as well. Doing this is so much more important than keeping a boss happy. The boss will get over it but you can't miss this opportunity because of work.

Yay Karma, looks like we will be waiting together. I just had a scan this morning and have a 18/19mm follicle ready to go. Having two more fsh shots tonight and tomorrow then trigger later on Sunday night.

Really excited again now, I think if I conceive this cycle due date will be around May and that's when my birthday is and it's my fav month of the year so would be perfect - though obviously I'm not picky but why can't it be this cycle and due my fav month haha - normal people "plan" around their preferred due month!!

How is everyone else going? Anyone else triggered last few days or in the few coming up? It's a glorious day here in Brisbane and I don't have to work so feeling awesome. Im going to work sun/mon then having rest of the week and prob mon/tues of the following week off - yay for holidays!!

Just quietly I've booked in a 3 hr session at a day spa on Friday and I'm just a bit EXCITED... Enjoy your weekend lovely ladies xxx

Triggering tonight ladies. Then collection at 8am on Monday. Trying to remain happy and hopeful but sometimes people don't make it easy.

My sister (who isn't aware we're trying this cycle), just called to tell me our cousin is pregnant. That in itself is fine. I'm happy for my cousin (or I'm trying to be). But it's just the way she told me that was irritating. Like she just wanted to tell me so she would know if it was going to upset me or not...not like she cared, just so she would know

Makes me even more glad that I decided to keep this cycle secret from my family...

At least my cousin is tactful. She knew last time I saw her but she decided not to tell me because she thought it would hurt my feelings.

Good luck Karmajane for your pickup! Hope all goes well.

Green fairy enjoy your day spa that sounds blissful

AFM I am 12 days post trigger and couldn't help myself but to POAS..... Theres a second line!!!!!!!! It's faint but it's there.... Now I'm scared I tested too early after the trigger!!
I did try that theory on a previous cycle and the trigger hcg was gone from my system about a week after..... So could this be a faint BFP?!?!?!!
