This!!! plus i add a dash of dettol, because me and M kept bouncing thrush from her nappies into my pads, back and forth

and its just become habit to add it to everything (since L still wets the bed), i just figure, it gets everything cleaner and we all love that eucalyptus smell to our clothes

but the aware on its own is awesome pink or green - either rocks

ETA: look up some DIY's though thermy - i've used them once or twice, and i find them super good. (the other day i ran out of detergent through a laundry spree - and googled 'emergency DIY laundry detergent', and found out that apparently that's what i can use all the left over baby shampoo for :P)

I don't have my recipe on me ( it's bookmarked on the PC) but if you search the forums I'm pretty sure people have posted recipes before, or you can google 'homemade laundry detergent'

I dissolve 1 cup of lux soap flakes with 1.5 litres of water on the stove, once all dissolved at 1/2 a cup each of borax and washing soda then place into a large lidded bucket (well thats how I store mine) and add about 8 litres of hot water from the tap and stir through and you're done. You can also add some essential oil for frangrance and have also seen reicpes for a heavily soiled wash that also has Sard wonder soap in it. I got mine for the blog Down--to--earth by the frugal lady that writes for women's weekly.
