    hi bgbgbb, the only option that fits for me, is the last one. I concieved my girls right after coming off the pill. I was 24, not overweight, not on any fertility treatment, had only one other child, no family history on my side, non identical twin cousins on husbands side, (which may have had some influence??). I concieved ID twins on the very first ovulation after ceasing the pill. I think that answer suits my situation best. Marie.

    ID Di-Di twins so a freak of nature (apparently, I dont agree!)

    My history
    I was over weight
    I took cold and flu tablets (was sick around the time of conception)
    My maternal cousin has fraternal triplets
    My great-nanna had 2 sets of twins
    Just off the pill (stopped taking it 6 weeks before I got BFP)
