No worries familyplanner. Sounds like your specialist is doing the right things monitoring wise.

With regards to actually ovulating the big follicle, mine doesn't happen on its own so I have the trigger and they reckon it then pops within about 40 hrs.

I'm certainly not an expert so don't just take what I say - do your own reading and investigations too and of course speak with your fs about your concerns and the fact you don't feel ready for IVF just yet - if you don't? It does have better chances and depending on your circumstances, age, DP sperm issues etc etc it may be the best option for you guys? Oh the stuff we have to go through who knew it could all be so hard. I just want a bubby

I was bitterly disappointed that unlike last cycle, my FS won't be doing my scans himself because I wanted to ask him for a trigger shot because I think that's exactly what I need. I had a 20mm follie on CD14 but I don't think I actually O'd until CD21! Crazy right!! He's decided to have the follie tracking done by an outside company and I am to ring his office for the results.

DH swimmers passed the test with fly colours so hopefully we can catch the egg this cycle FX. Then IVF will be a non-issue.

I hear ya FP, let's both keep those fingers crossed and all our problems will be solved
We live in hope. I made the mistake of going to the local shopping centre tonight - its kind of a low socio economic area and every person that really shouldn't be breeding was walking around pregnant or with about 5 kids hanging off them... I've retreated home to my new non child friendly white leather lounges
    Friday tomorrow xx

961 definitely ask for the trigger! I had mine after scan showed 20mm follicle. Can the clinic do the trigger do you know?

I don't think the clinic would be able to authorise the trigger shot. I have a feeling that it will be an ultrasound tech doing the scan and he will send the images to the FS who will then give further instructions.

Hi ladies, I had a laparoscopy etc yesterday, they found a spot of endo and removed it, also think I have pcos but no blocked tubes which is good news!! Should I expect my period to return as normal in 2 1/2 weeks? I've had minimal bleeding since yesterday!
