Congrats miggins, it's always so nice to hear the success stories!

Littledove- I know how you feel. At Xmas time we had two couples come to our place for lunch. Both announced they were pregnant, I had just told them about my struggles just a few weeks earlier. I had a horrible day, they were guests in my house and I had to suck it up and entertain the whole day. When they finally left I cried my eyes out until the next morning. I always seem to be the last with everything in my life, finding a partner to settle down with now having a family, sucks!

Some days I'm really positive other days a pram or a baby bump will just set me off. But we're allowed to have bad days. Keep your chin up, I'm sure our turn will come

AFM my first round of clomid was officially a failed attempt today. Onto the next round straight onto 100mg fx

Congrats Miggins Your return to our group was short and sweet. Be sure to keep us posted on how your little bean is going though. Sending you lots of sticky

AFM; I've made an appointment with Dr Greening who is supposed to be the best in the Illawarra as I'm not happy with my current Gyno. His only available appointment was March 29th so I'm stuck with my current doc for another couple of months.

Hey Family Planner - glad you have changed drs appt so many people who arent happy feel its there only option - just be sure to fill out a transfer form to give your new dr a better idea and for a asap! Just one question though - why do you see a Gyno and not a FS (fertility specialist) I have read this heaps and wonder if I should see a Gyno also.

1xbabyplease - I am very fortunate as I was sure they would cancel the cycle too, FS is great and after my miscarriage I would have been crushed and probably would have still BD anyways even knowing the risks which he explained throughly but said its highly unlikely that we would have more than two cos of the old cysts but we dont care and figure what is mean to be will be.

Simba124 - Clomid doesnt work well for me either so FS had me on 100mg (very bad PCOS) clomid days 2-6 and then Puregon injectables as well - on the first cycle when I had zero response to the 100mg clomid he put me straight onto injectibles and then I had a 45 day cycle with one follie and BFN - FS expected this though because of the long cycle the egg quality is sometimes diminished. Second cycle I had my BFP which ended in miscarriage at around 8 weeks but only found out at 10 weeks 5 days. He basically said that if clomid will work for me you would see it quickly so he upped me to 150mg clomid days 2-6 followed by the FSH injections and I ovulate on day 14 with the trigger on day 13 and I am now in my TWW for the 3rd time.

If this cycle doesnt work next cycle I will be on less clomid and FSH because I have responded better than ever before after the DnC and I would say it will be reduced due to high order multiple risks.
Little Dove and EDB - good luck with this cycle.

AFM - I am in the TWW and its soo hard - am going to do a test tomorrow (4dpo) to see if all the HCG from trigger is out of my system if not I will test again at 6 and 8 dpo to see when it clears my system - last time was only 5 days. Then I will test at 10 and 11dpo which is when I got my last BFP so heres hoping.

How are the rest of you ladies going along in your cycles????

Hi, im new to this forum. I was diagnosed with PCOS 3 weeks ago and am waiting for my specialist appointment in 4 weeks time. I went off the Pill 4 months ago (after being on it for 12 years) and still have not had AF. I am a normal BMI with no acne or excessive hair. I am really hoping my specialist will start Clomid but worried they may make me go on another medication first because ive had no AF. Just thought id share my story. Good luck to everyone.

Hi Bella. If the specialist wants you to do clomid, you will have to take some form of progesterone in order to make AF happen. Good luck with your journey.

Littlejoey: I was going to a gyno because that is who I was referred to when my blood tests showed strange levels and they found cysts on my ovaries. I think this new doctor is an FS.

    Hi ladies

I am desperate for some advice. I have taken provera for 7 days with my last pill being this Wednesday past. I realise it might take a couple of days, perhaps even a week, for AF to arrive, however today and yesterday I've had spotting, a small amount of watery, light pink cm, so my question is, is this my period??? My mates thinks it could be but it's next to nothing! Has anyone else experienced the same and then got a proper AF? I don't know if I should count today as CD2 and start taking my clomid?!

Familyplanner961 = Thanks for verifying that, I just got referred to FS and apparently Gyno is who I would go to if I werent TTC but they can still do the same thing anyways!

Bella84 - welcome to BH!! Its a great resourse for info and I have found it very useful. Familyplanner961 is right, my FS gave me tablets to bring on AF but once you start ovulating you shouldnt need them again. I have taken them on 2 different cycles (the 1st and this one which is my 3rd). Everyone is different but I had no side effects at all, in fact none of the meds have given me any side effects at all and I am responding really well and fell preg second cycle but lost bub due to a chromosone issue so it wasnt anything to do with the meds. Then after the miscarriage AF didnt arrive so had to take the second round of the tablets to bring AF. You will be fine so try not to stress about it too much. Its a massive rollercoaster but also very interesting!!

Where are you from? I am in brisbane and go to QFG and they are brilliant!

Best of Luck in your journey though and heres hoping your stay here is short!

Little dove i have just gone through exactly this. I had a very light watery start to AF on the 10th in the pm (730) but the next day 11th jan it was heavier but I wouldnt have need more than one pad for the whole day (sorry TMI I know lol) and I rang FS and they said count day one from the second day. So I started Clomid on day 2 (actual 3rd day of bleeding).

I would count today as CD1. For me I didnt have a very heavy period but this is also normal because with PCOS we can take longer to build a lining (hence less to shed) so will get a lighter one after provera etc. Also when you have your scan then you should have a thicker lining although clomid can be known to thin it but doesnt always- are you on clomid and fsh? Does your FS monitor your follies and lining?
