You all have me ROFL ha ha. Sorry AF showed Merls. I hate the wretched b@tch.

My OPK yesterday was almost positive so I'm thinking it will be today but we're going the state of origin game so I've got half an hour when I get home to get the job done :-/ Talk about pressure. I don't know whether we'll pull it off because DH does not respond to pressure well.

We got the job done last night but I was worried we wouldn't because DH climbed into bed and I swear that every part of him was so cold and sorry TMI but I mean EVERY part of him. I ended up getting him warm enough though. This is why animals always do their breeding in the spring time LOL.

    Hi All,

I am 27 and brand new to BubHub and have never joined a forum before, I don't know all the abbreviations yet, but I'll do my best. I am just no longer able to cope on my own and have seen all the positivity here and am keen to be a part of it. DH (29) and I have been TTC for 1.5 years now. I had an Ectopic Pregnancy May 11 and have 2 m/c's since, the last was 4 weeks ago at only 3 weeks along the first m/c was at 11 wks.

I have PCOS and now my ObGyn is saying it may be Egg Quality issues. I take Metformin 500mg 3 times a day and suffer severely from side effects even after 5 months of being on it (stomach upset and sleepiness).

We tried our first round of Clomid (days 3 to 7) at the end of May and I just did a BFN yesterday, which has devastated me. I used to be such a rational person, but I feel like I am losing my mind.

It has been hard on DH and I but it has miraculously brought us closer. I am a lawyer and I am underperforming at work and really starting to stress about the future. I have 16 friends pregnant at the moment, 6 of them are my best friends and cousins and it just makes it so difficult.

Sorry I sound so depressing, but any forum I should read please suggest away.

I look forward to being a part of your group and offering support wherever I can.

    D

Awwww Della What a long journey and full of sadness. But you know what they say right? After every storm is a rainbow! Your baby will come, it's path different to most, but you have to remain optimistic. It's just not time yet!!

We try to be a positive bunch, as much as Shackles struggled to ovulate in Africa (bloody foreigners ) she got her BFP recently, she had hope and that's what you can't lose!

You are most welcome, but watch your head cause there's loonies flying around (looks straight at Shackles, TTC, GF, FP.............you know you are )

Oh and FP, heard this and thought of you hehehe:LISTEN TO ME FP!!

LOL Merls is the biggest crazy here. Welcome Della. I hope your stay is short and sweet. I can sympathise about work as I'm constantly distracted and thinking about TTC while I'm at work (Posting this from the work computer during my lunch break oohhh dear).

    Hello ladies xoxox

ALMOST halfway through my first tww and feeling strangely positive.

Diagnosed with pcos at 19yo and always expected I couldn't get pregnant, hoping I was mistaken for 11 years!

    Anywho quick question.

I inseminated at home on a particular day.
So if it worked I'll know pretty well the approx date.

Would the doctor still backdate the due date???

Just woken, feeling sick so excuse the very poor sentence construction lol

IMO I believe the doctor will still use the first day of your LMP for the due date. Date of conception is such a grey area because the ovulated egg can survive from 12-48 hours, and the intercept date is just a guess. Blah blah blah (Merls thinking too fast for typing)

Short answer - Yes, doc will backdate
