Well, think I'm off the list now until the end of april. We have booked a trip to visit dh's family in africa in april. We also invited our good friends to come with us as we have always said they should come with if we go again, so they are. Dh wants to now to wait and postpone the fertility treatment until after the trip as me being sick with morning sickness will spoil everyones (expensive) holiday. I think I've decided to go with his decision, but just cant stop thinking that there will always be something to postpone, although he says this is it.... What a roller coaster of emotions!! Baaaaa!! Familyplanner... Sending you hugs! So frustrating. I hope they are real symptoms and you O soon. I hate it when our bodies trick us. I have too many times been let down by symptoms I thought were the real deal. sending you load sof

Shakles... April... must feel like a lifetime away. I know its only 8 weeks, but I have been postponed 8 weeks before and I thought it would feel like an eternity. Luckily with plenty of distraction it will pass, and its amazing that when you are not focusing on having a baby how exciting other areas of your life can be. I know what you mean about something is always in the way. I have put off new jobs and holidays and all for the 'just in case i fall pregnant'.

1xbabyplease FF predicts me to O on CD20 but since I've been taking the metformin my cycles have been getting shorter- hopefully this month it will shorten by a couple of days too!

Good luck edb and little dove at your FS appointments. I'm curious to hear what they say as that is the next step for us, so far my GP has been doing everything. Two more cycles then I'm heading in for a referral.

AFM just lying low waiting for AF to finish! God she was a shocker this time! She seems to be getting worse with age- or maybe it is the PCOS?

    Hi ladies!
My FS appointment yesterday went really well and im feeling very positive about things. Apparently DH has good swimmers so thats one less thing to worry about. FS confirmed my PCO with my blood results and has put me on provera for 7 days to induce a withdrawal bleed and then 50mg of clomid from cd2 through to 6, then a scan on cd12 to check my follicles and then a day 21 progesterone test. I was hoping thats what he would give me so yay! So today i took my first provera tablet.. haha, i seem to have loads of different drugs stacked next the kettle in the kitchen what with clomid, provera and elevit, looks like a mini pharmacy. The FS was telling us how with clomid it is tricky to get the dose right at times, hence starting off with a low dose and monitoring follicules with scans. He said to relax about it all and dont stress too much if i dont ovulate on the first try. So yeah, feeling quite positive about it all... roll on next week when i can pop my first clomid pill!!! How was your appointment edb??
