Welcome back Merls I hope your break was good (at least for your sanity). I've got one more round of clomid and then I'm hopping on the IVF train. Where are you at now regarding treatments Merls?

Petie Pie- Doesn't matter what time you take clomid. It just has to be taken at around the same time each day I believe.

Merls!! Omg!! Soo glad you are back!! I hope you had a good break and everything is travelling well for you!

Yes, i have been extreeeeemely lucky!! First round of clomid - and walah! My dh is pretty pleased with himself to say the least! Im still very early days, and just cant relax and get excited about it yet, but scan last week said all is good and ill be 7 weeks on thursday. I cant wait til the first trimester is over so i can really relax passing on heaps of good vibes for a bfp for you soon!!

I cant remember who posted before - but i recommend you take clomid at night just before you go to bed so if you do get any nausea or headaches, most of it happens while you are sleeping.

Welcome to all the newbies!! Hope your stay is short. Hope noone minds me hanging around still??

The break was great for my sanity, just went with it for a while, a bit like when you had that 'free' month it's all about getting up to no bloody good with no regard for positions, oral/no oral and the rest hehe

IVF train huh? Fingers crossed mate, but seriously don't go over to the June IVF triers, we like you better here!! lol

First round of Clomid did the trick huh Shackles? Good for you matey! 7 weeks, you ripper! Don't stress out though (pfft, yeah right lol) meditate or sit on a lily pad for next 5 weeks, better yet lay still and keep your legs in the air I'll be requiring weekly updates lol

My treatment? I'm back on Metformin, and when I say that I really mean I'm starting fresh so yep - ol merls is going through the nausea and headaches trying to get the body used to it again - seriously not pleasant! Doc wants us to have another 3 cycles monitoring the big O, we weren't meant to try this month it was just about temps, bloods blah blah and next month was the TTC month, yeah right, "DH!! Come here!" lol
After the 3 months it depends on if I've O'd or not as to what our next step is! I'm seeing an accupuncturist next week for a shoulder injury so I thought while I'm there he can put a few more in other strategic places for the fertility front - cant hurt right?

I will definitely be staying here. if I do get to the IVF stage I might pop in to the other group too and have a chat to the IVF ladies but I like this little group so I think I'll be popping in here all the time even after I get my BFP.

Damn doctors!!! I've always gone to the medical centre because it's easy and I assumed that I could get any doctor to fill out my pre-existing ailments form for NIB so that I can get some money back from my laproscopy. They can all see my record but only the doctor who referred me to Dr Greening would fill it out and he wrote the date of when they first suspected PCOS and not when I was actually diagnosed by the specialist. Now I wish I had a regular GP. NIB has to make it as difficult as possible don't they!!!

I increased my private health cover and they want to know that I didn't do that because I had PCOS so should it be that difficult to go through my record and find the letter of diagnosis from the specialist to prove that I increased my cover before diagnosis? Sorry rant over girls.

Boh that just makes things harder why can't they do it properly the first time can you fix it if you find the letter?

AFM: I start my first round of clomid tonight. Kind of scary and exciting at the same time. hope everyone is doing well!
