I am thinking that i am going to start the temping after i get AF. My FS said that the OPK should work for me as my body was starting to shut down having blood tests constantly. Dont think my veins like being poked and prodded too much.

I am now trying to get my head around fertility friend phone app

Hi ladies! Yup, back in the country for all of 8 hours and im already back to being obsessed with ttc! Africa was amazing and it was awesome to have some time away from the all-consuming ttc thoughts. Unfortunately instead of getting a bfp away, i got the dreaded witch - roughly 7-8dpo.... And a horrible one at that - long and heavy after i started the first round of clomid. So instead of lots of holiday
Bd'ing, there was lots of "no dear - the witch is still here" . Still waiting for o now i think - i didnt temp while i was away so i have no idea where im at. Feeling quite down (jetlag doesnt help either) as dh's family dont really understand the fertility problems, and both his mum and grandma knitted us 2 baby blankets.... Was sweet, but id rather them post something like that once ive actually had a baby - i cant imagine having them in my house if it doesnt ever happen for me.

Anyways, sorry bout the rant. Its 4 in the morning and im awake from jetlag so much of my post may not make sense!! Ha ha!!

Merls - im sorry to hear that you are taking a forced break, but you never know - it might work wonders for you!!

Good luck to everyone else. Hope to hear some positive news soon!!

    Welcome back Shackles.

I had to go and get my glucose tolerance test yesterday and in my early morning haze, I didn't see the car parked across the road and reversed into it. I left a note for the owner and he came over after I got home to tell me that it is an imported car and will cost a lot to fix. We haven't put bomb insurance on our car yet Lucky I've got some savings but it's not how I wanted to spend it. What a crappy way to start the weekend.

Ouch! What type of car was it? My car is an import and most of the time they are actually cheaper to fix because of the aud and the fact that you can also import the parts to fix it.

    Fx it isnt too much!

It was a mercedes van. A friend of mine knows a panel beater and he said that it shouldn't cost any more than any other car if it doesn't need any parts. The ding probably just needs to be popped back out and the scratches sanded back and then repainted. It wasn't metalic paint so I don't see why the whole side would need to be repainted.

Thanks fp. Im already back in the swing of obsessing over ttc!!

Ouch about your car - hope it doesnt end up too expensive. He's probably just blowing smoke and hoping to get more out of the situation that is needed.

How is everyone travelling? Its very quiet on here these days... Was there a lot of bfp's while i was away!??

Hi shackles, welcome back! Sorry you didnt get your BFP while you were away, i had my fx for you. Unfortunately no BFP here yet either. My first round of clomid did nothing and I'm just about to start round 2 on 100mg tomorrow night and im on metformin 1500mg now too.

It is very quiet round here lately I just don't feel I have anything exciting to share. I'm having the week off work just cause I felt like a break but unfortunately Sil who has been staying with us is also off so I'm a bit bummed as I was looking forward to doing my own thing and having the house to myself.
Anyway hope all is tracking along ok for everyone else. Have a great week.
