Little Dove - How long have you been TTC? Which state are you in?

Cotton Candy - That's great that Metformin worked so well for you, I'm hoping it does wonders for me! Did you have any negative side effects? I'm really busy at work for the next month and don't want to be feeling green!

Looking forward to seeing the specialist and moving into the next chapter of TTC, I thought something wasn't right and now I know!
I got a positive OPK yesterday, although don't think I Oed as no pain (which I normally get) or any other symptoms of O. So now preparing my self for the 50 day cycle this will turn out to be!!! Really hoping the Metformin brings my cycle length down substantially!!!

And congrats WishingOnAStar, I hope you have a dream pregnancy!!!

I take the slow release ones, so definitely ask for those!!! I started on one a day (500mg), then after a week went to two, then three, and now I take 4 (although doc changed prescription so it's just two bigger tablets).
I was tired and lethargic, and had a grumbly, gurgly belly, and mild nausea. I didn't have any diarrhea, but I'm generally on the 'low flow' side in the department anyway (often only twice a week- terrible! Sorry TMI).
The no carb/miminal fruit(cos of the sugar) diet didn't make things better either and since being on it I have been more constipated than anything. Sorry, again TMI!! But having the slow release definitely helped!

I will have to remember to ask for the slow release!

Have you tried pro-biotics CottonCandy? They are a tablet with good cultures, my chiro swears by them and they keep me very regular.
I find they make a difference with digesting all the vitamin tablets I'm taking.

I hope the specialist doesn't give me a low carb/sugar diet!! I'd never survive!!

I hope the metformin helps Little Dove! I"m in Melbourne and just starting to research some of the doctors. I've got a list of referrals from my GP and went with the earliest appointment.

I'm having 50 day cycles at the moment and they are the pits, I'm really hoping to be UTD first cycle as it would be a November due date

    Hi all

I just wanted to see how everyone is tracking?

Today I managed to rearrange my FS appointment so that DH can come too, afterall his SA results will be back! I am a little nervous though cos what if the dr asks me about cm and signs of AF over the past few weeks? Not sure I want DH hearing about all that! Perhaps I'm bring silly but that feels a bit private! Am I being silly?
Also, now that I'm back at work I'm totally obsessing over babies again! Over Christmas I was really relaxed about it, even forgot about it for a while, but now I'm all het up about it again... Has anyone got any advice as to how I can relax about it again?

    Yay Friday tomorrow!

    Hi littledove!!

I don't think you're being silly- but ur will probably be good for your DH to be more understanding of those sorts of things!! Yes it will prob be TMI for him but I find that little snippets of info almost make my DH more intrigued and interested in the TTC business!!

AFM I think AF is about here! Tiniest bit of spotting today at 12dpo. At least it is arriving when FF expected- although I wish It was a BFP instead

    Hi girls.

Back on metformin I go - yaaay :-( on the extended release though; so maybe that'll help?
    FS appointment in May.
Cutting carbs and have switched to "good" carbs (low GI) and drastically cut sugar and caffiene too.

Not sure how to cope as my diagnosis is only new, and I conceived first try with DS and DD (1st cycle off long term pill usage). This is my first ever BFN and it sux - how do you ladies cope with it?

    Me (27) & Him (25) = DSD (6), DS (6), DSD (3) & DD (2) plus TTC from Dec 2011 :-)

Please help anyone: Have you ever gotten a good ovulation from a particular dosage of clomid one month and then not O'd the next month on the same dose? I was on 150mg last month and O'd on CD19 and this month I am on the same dose and haven't O'd yet (CD21)
