    I would choose any of the 4 names to be honest, I like them all and none are too hard to pronounce

    I would choose Kian. With Armin, yes, I pronounce the 'r'.

    I first pronounced it as key-an I prefer this way too. only when I read it I thought hm it could be said as Kai-an too

    Nickan i'm not sure on. nick-ahn? from what you said at the end of the post about the As sounding like the one in father.
    Shayan- i've met a female shayann.. too close for me.
    Armin i would pronounce like almond but without the d.
    Kian- i'd pronounce it kee-ahn or kee-en. probably the first one though, because you said the As all sound like the a in father as i mentioned above.

    Kian would be the one i'd pick out of those
