Mines a biblical name that has been mentioned a few times and have seen it in signatures as kids names too.
Much more surprising to me was seeing a username that is exactly my dd1's name that is very very unusual as in never heard it as a name before in my life!!

I just did a search and yes, it has been suggested a fair few times. There was even a whole thread on it last month and whether it sounded like something else when paired with the middle name...

My name was popular in the 70s and there were always around 2 more in my class at school.

I like it but I've seen BHers hating on it LOL

I haven't seen my named mention but it is quite common for people my age and a bit older so I'm sure it has been. I'll search...

I just did a search. It came up under a 'names you'd never call your child' thread and it also got 5 votes in a 2009 'help me decide our babies name' thread and ended up being there back up name.

I don't hear my name very often IRL for any age group but my DH is south American and when he moved to Aus and told his friends and family that he met a girl called xyz they all got excited and assumed I was spanish. I'm not. I don't really like my name. My sister's name is beautiful though. She was born first

My name is a 70's name and no I have never seen other HB'ers put it on their naming lists. My mum named me after her ex-boyfriend but gave me the female version. Older drunken men often sing me a known song with my name in it
