Default Help!! Any successful stories of comp feeding?? Advice would be awesome!

So DD2 is a fussy butt! She is 6 months old and has never taken well to a bottle. She has NEVER had EBM - she completely refuses it. Formula she seems to be open to, but not consistently. She is on 3 solid feeds a day now and I am going to a new job in 2.5 weeks. ATM she bf's 4 or 5 times thru the day and 2 times over night. I am trying to wean her on to formula for her 2 middle feeds a day but today she seems to be refusing, like she knows she will get booby later so why drink it.....I am worried about her hydration, but also the fact she isn't yet sold on the bottle. After my training finishes I will be working on a 24/7 shift roster and need her to be taking formula full time by then as I really don't want to be expressing at work and plan to fully wean by then, but i also don't want to fully give up just yet... I had issues with DD1 so having a happily bf baby is something that has been really important to me. Am i trying to have the best of both worlds?? Could the comp feeding be confusing her? It is only day 3.

I would suggest trying to get someone else to give her that bottle to see how she goes?

Try the Pigeon Peristaltic teats, they're fabulous for breast fed bubs.
I tried a bunch of different teats when weaning DD2 from breast to bottle and she wouldn't have a bar of any of them until I came across these.
They're as close as you can get to an actual nipple apparantely and the wide neck teats fit the Avent bottles.
    Good luck!

    I agree with the above.
You could also try giving her formula or EBM in a sippy cup instead? May be different enough for her to try at least.
