Default One income households, do you receive your FTB payments as a yearly lump sum?

Does anyone? I am thinking of doing this but I'm not sure how to go about it? I can't find anything on the centerlink website so I guess I have to call them

We used to, but not anymore. Just call centrelink and ask them to change you to receive it annually not fortnightly, they will do it on the spot.

Nope, not yet. When DH finishes his CPA and gets his position {provided that the world doesn't end this year and plunge everyone into doom and death }, we'll have three average wages from the one person's work.

Until then, the FTB pays the rent, gets us food, and pays the bills. I'd like to see all our payments rolled into one lump sum, though. That's a whole lotta Cold Rock icecream!
