Default Divarication of abdominal muscle in 9 month old

Just wondering if anyone has any experience or information about abdominal muscle divarication in babies. My 9 month old appears to have it and I don't really know if there is anything I need to do to help him or whether it's basically strengthening exercises when he is older.

No I haven't, I haven't really noticed it to be honest except for the last few weeks when he has been pulling himself up to stand and his tummy bulges a little in the middle where his abs should be and when I took him to the docs the other day about something else (we are on holidays so not my own doc) I showed her and she said that's what it was but couldnt give me much info. I have an appt with my doctor when we get back home so I will talk to her about it. Just thought I'd put it out there in case anyone had firsthand knowledge of it.

I'm seeing a physio friend in the week - I'll try and remember to ask!
