it depends on where you live. there's a facebook group of lots of people who happily let people borrow their slings/wraps to try them out for a day or two (or who are building up a 'sling-library' so they can let people try before they buy).

I've let people try mine out if they're interested. [i don't have either of the ones you mentioned - but i have quite a few others ] so it might be worth asking in your area?

I've read that some people find the baby ktan is not a hands free carrier... Do you think bub is safe in there? Because I live in Melbourne should I just get a cotton ktan or a breeze ?

Tbh I find my ring sling less 'hands free' than the ktan. But probably because I usually only have her on the side in the ring sling and so she was sort of in the way of my arm/hand anyway, whereas with the ktan I usually had her right in front so my hands/arms were free to move around her. I found it stable and never thought she was going to fall out
I'd probably go with the cooler ktan if you can, you can always dress bub more warmly inside it if you need to. It's hard to remove more layers if they're already only wearing a nappy and still hot!

I'm a size 14 and I got a medium but it was too big so I had a seamstress friend shorten it. Given that it came from America and had American sizing, I should have gotten the small. Something to keep in mind when you are buying

Original. I bought it before I discovered the breeze

I think I have the med too, and I'm a 12-14 top. I got it because I wanted DH to be able to wear it too, I didn't find it too big, but that might be why it was a bit too stretchy once she got heavier. It would depend too on whether the breeze is a stretchy fabric or more structured like the BB. The cotton one us fairly stretchy.

I ordered an organic K'Tan from the USA yesterday. I felt that traditional long wraps were going to be too tricky and I liked the simplicity of the K'Tan. It was recommended to me by a few friends but I haven't given them a test run - I just had faith in their opinions. They raved!
