    I dunno about that. I think it all depends on your foundation.

    I definitely think that if we hadn't have had kids that we would have split up by now. Having kids makes us try harder and work harder on our marriage because we have so much more to lose now, and not only that, but it doesn't just affect us kwim?

    I agree though, if the relationship is shaky then kids+bigger financial responsibilities will most definitely destroy it.

    I haven't had a band-aid baby, and I never would. It's a recipe for disaster. If your relationship is unsteady, having a baby will make it a lot worse, or be the last straw.
    I do not know anyone that it's worked for.
