We were low count, And my best advise while doing treatment is keep yourself busy but keep yourself rested, always remember your partner and yourself are going through a whirlwind of emotions and to be there for eachother, date nights, small trips away work really well keeping you sane, hormones will play a big part in going cookoo lol maybe not but I did, I cried a lot and got very short fused but dont we all! And after your egg collection REST feet up, everyone do stuff for me rest! So your body can recover before you embryo transfer. Also we went for blastocyst transfer day 5 it shows the stronger embryos in the bunch but this isnt proper advise and may not be available to you, each case is different, you should seek advise from your specialist and by no means tak this as medical advise this is just our story

thanks MrsSchultzy. Had egg pickup today with 6 and will have to do ICSI due to poor sperm count and morphology. It would be nice to hear about your experience. How are your boys?

Well done you must be tired, you take it easy after today! We had low count due to surgery when my hubby was younger so we always new we'd need help so we started in 2008 i was 24 and I hyper stimulated my ovaries the most painful thing I've ever experienced, i had pill then spray then gonal f they got 18 eggs but only 7 fertilized and only 1 made it to day 5 and he is now 3! If I was ever concerned like a bleed or pain I made sure I got checked and I rested till I found I was pregnant!! #2 was different we went off my natural cycle with about 2or3 types of injections took longer for the eggs to mature and it was much better even the pregnancy kicked off better, 5 eggs and 1 baby boy Jan 2011 and one 6 day old embryo waiting for my husband to give in and try for #3 very stressed about trying a frozen transfer but what will be will be, where are you having treatment?

4 have fertilised with ICSI out of the 6 so I think that is a good result. I'm so glad they rang me this morning as I would have been hanging out for the news. Just a waiting game still each day. Hard to keep one's hope in check. I'm sure everyone here knows what I mean.
