We maybe looking at ivf as this is the eighth natural cycle and no luck yet. Work don't like us to try for more than six months then they offer assistance to make it happen. Just wondering what we can expect to go through?

    Hi Lib77,
Due to my age they don't like you to try for too long. We turned to IVF as nothing was happening naturally. Found out my husband has low count so now we need ICSI. IVF seems daunting but so far just learning as much as I can each day and going with the flow. The nurses at the clinic answer all your questions when you first meet with them and run you through how IVF works. Day 3 of injections today and it was a bit sore today (I don't cope with needles well) but the last few days were ok. Good luck.

Hi ladies, good luck to you both. You may find you get more replies if you post this thread in the IVF section as alot of people trying to conceive don't usually come into the IVF pregnancy section until they are successful.

    The link is http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/f...lay.php?64-IVF

There is also a sticky on that page with hints, suggestions and tips for new IVF's which may be of some use to you.

    All the best

Hi MrsSchultzy and Speckles - & everyone else!

We too need to have IVF ICSI and I think our nearest is Clayton... any advice on Drs etc would be great! I'm from the UK and only been here 2 mths, so really struggling with what to do and how to go about it - any help and advise would be sooooo good!

Me 33, DP 34 - no swimmers - blocked, have been extracted and frozen... in UK!!!
