It's my favourite car too hence why I said it, I'd never use it for a child in real life but my pets all have car names - Hemi and Shelby the cats and Cuda and Malibu the fishes... Next PET us definitely Chevelle

To me whenever I hear Shelby I think of Julia Roberts in Steel Magnolias. I loved the name from when I first saw the movie and would love to use it.

I also had Suggested the name Ellenor Shelby or Shelby Ellenor to DH Before I knew of the car in Gone in 60 seconds. I think he liked them and they are still possible. Except for that car reference.

    There is a difference.
Hmmm I guess my little man Bentley is a bogan name then? Given it has an Old English origin I would presume the name was around long before the car brand.

Erm....you kind of just talked yourself in and out of an argument with yourself Lol I said naming a kid after a car is bogan....and as you said, Bentley was around long before the car brand..therefor its not bogan.
Naming your child AFTER A CAR BRAND SPECIFICALLY is what I consider bogan. Im assuming you didnt name your son Bentley because you have a passion for Bentleys, unlike those that choose Chevy, Chevelle, Calais etc.

On another note, FOB just bought himself a Chevy Chevelle....all this talk of bloody Chevelles is doing my head in
