Hmmm I am wondering if my daughters middle name is bogan now haha - ok dont quote this as I will delete but...

Munch is Kira (love this spelling as it was the most unplayed with traditional way but now I am forever spelling it and saying no no no e in there, nope not a double r, and negative on the y) ANYWAY but the bogan part may be her middle name which is essentially a last name which I tweaked haha - so here goes - Mikinlee - so yep hit me with it - bogan??? Honestly I wont get offended, if it IS bogan I shall embrace it haha.
The name? I like it. McKinley is a cute name I think. But the spelling - to me, yes, it's a little bogan :s but meh. As long as you love it!!

I don't believe we have the original. However she has 2 letters from the queen, one with each spelling. My mother & aunt were livid when these arrived for her 100th.

Us women arent normally allowed out of the kitchen long enough to watch a moving picture film. Even if we were, Im sure none of us would ever be interested in one where vehicles go at fast speeds and unruly people do things that jeopardize their immortal souls.

I dont think the spelling Ellenor is bogan at all but as someone whose name is not spelt the "traditional" way I'd be keen to save any potential child from a lifetime of having to correct the spelling of their name. When my DD 14 was born I made the idiotic choice of dropping the e from madelEine because in my youthful exuberance I didn't want her to have to deal with more letters than necessary when she was learning to spell it herself. However, she now often gets Madeline as in long i instead of Madeleine. I don't suppose it bothers her too much, but she sure does get shirty if anyone calls her by her full name instead of Maddy.

Basically, these days I'm pretty much a sticker for original spellings of names. Why make life more difficult for the munchkins then it needs to be. But if YOU like it, go for it.
