    There's a difference between

Helping uncle jack, off a horse
Helping uncle jack off a horse

    Uncle Jack
Thought I should correct the capital letters as it would be ironic to make an error in a spelling thread!

    Definitely - definately!!!

Hate it. Even with predictive text people still spell it with an 'a'. So annoying.

I mentioned this to DH recently and at first he literally didn't believe me... He couldn't comprehend how someone could make this error and thought I must be mistaken about how common it is.

My DP cannot spell to save his life...it's irritating...I just don't get how people can't spell these days, I mean we have auto correct and spell check on everything.

I see that he's/his thing on Facebook all the time and think WTF? And 'definately' gets on my nerves too.

"There is no a in definitely" was my first tip of the month! I so want the world to see the error of their ways... "defiantly" we can blame on autocorrect, but don't they see the little red line when they type definately?!.

I hate when people rely on autocorrect and everything comes up in American spelling. I hate it!

Ya instead of YOU.. Ya isn't a word!!!
Wat instead of WHAT.. is the H really that hard?
Z in general.. things such as Organize. I prefer organise.. it's that American thing again. Harbor/ harbour, Mom/ Mum ect.
My pet hate is also when people use "Thanks" in a formal setting, it should be "Thank You".
They're, their and there irritates me but I can get lazy and blind when I'm tired and stupid auto correct does it. I do love that site damnyouautocorrect!
