My almost 7 year old DD was showing me her writing books from school, and her teacher has corrected her. DD has written a sentence "the worse thing it can do ..." and the teacher has put a "d" after worse!! It's worst! Grrrrr.
Don't get me started on DD's teacher's grammar, in particular the misuse of verbs as nouns. Apparently DD brings her "spellings" home and the other day she was "doing learning".
Apparently DD likes to correct the other kids' errors and gets frustrated when they don't get it. Hmm, wonder where that came from... **looks around and whistles innocently**
Oh geez. Where on earth do you start when teachers get it wrong too? I'm dreading the day my kids go to school.
Just when I think I've seen the worst, DD comes out of class this afternoon with a puzzle she made, labelled by the teacher - "Jiggsaw puzzle".
