There are so many posts here that I want to quote and say "YES! I hate this too!".
Here are a few more that have popped up lately and have been making me angry inside :
The incorrect use of "isle" in place of "aisle" when talking about weddings or supermarkets.
When people agree with something and they write "Here here!". NO! It's "hear, hear!". Aaargh.
Another one I keep seeing is "per say". No again! The phrase is "per se" and is Latin. I never know whether to laugh or cry when I see this and from the context in which it is used, often wonder if the user even knows what it means.
You girls seem on the ball can anyone remind me the correct uses of wether and whether? I can never remember lol
Wether is a sheep, weather as in sunny, rain, snow. Whether or not I will go to the shops .
Seen in bh land more than once- bumb instead of bump???
Lambjam - can you please make your next tip about the correct spelling of 'disgusting' (as in, NOT 'discusting')? I'm seeing this one everywhere on BH lately.
