Yep we use 123 magic here too, its timeout with a twist, and the twist makes you the parent feel in control. Its... well... magic! It was the only thing dd1 responded to before we took her off additives. I still use it since we cleaned up her diet but not as much. There is a dvd too. definitely recommend it

I'm agreeing with everyone else here! 1,2,3 Magic saved my sanity, really! My DS1 responded to it so well especially when nothing else worked. I was at the end of my tether with his behavior, felt like you do, and within a few days of doing 1,2,3 he (and I) had different behavior and reactions.
We borrowed the DVD from the library, but as Thermolicious said there are places online that it can be found also.

Good luck, it's such a hard, heartbreaking position to be in....hugs.

And that is the reason for the move? is there anyone else you can call on to come help for a few hours while you catch up on some sleep and DH studies?

Forgive me, i know you post a lot on here and I'm sure all these suggestions have been made before, I just feel for you cos i know that desperate feeling
I know its normal & they are good kids. Im running on empty & needs back up, hence the move home. We have no support here what so ever, other than day care which is pushing the budget to the limits.

    Kids were 3 months early.

I can relate completely and I meant no disrespect when I said it sounded normal, i hope it didn't come across that way. I have no support either, and two kids who were both difficult babies, and one who was a difficult toddler. The constant drip-drip of everyday being a mini-crisis pushed me and DH to the brink, it has beyond a shred of doubt been the most difficult experience of my life. And you have three littlies all the same age, with the added complications of premmies, I can only imagine how you must be stretched beyond every limit you thought possible.

How much time do they get in day care? I had the girls in creche one morning a week and that was it. I sometimes wish I had thought of getting a student to come in for a couple of hours a day, but i would only have been able to afford to give them pocket money really.

So when do you think you will be able to move home, is that dependent on DH getting a job? Is that likely soon?

DH drops them off at care on his way to work & picks them up, so 8am-5pm. We cant move till he has a job at the other end, should be before the end of the next month. Just waiting for everyone to come back from holidays.
