    And it's made DH start looking after himself too...

    has changed the whole house! Even Julian now just jumps up and says "I'm going to exercise!" and then spins around and jumps about kicking his legs everywhere. lol. so cute.

    Nice to be feeling a bit more like ME... (even pulled my guitar out which has been collecting dust for the last few years)

    I spent the first year (Aug 2010-Aug2011) basically really watching my diet. I didn't restrict anything, but just decided I wouldn't eat over 5000kj mon-fri and 8000kj sat-sun.

    I stopped having lots of dairy, I stopped having carb heavy meals, I stopped having morning tea and afternoon tea (this was a habit, not because I was hungry, but because it was DH's habit and because he would make it for me as well as himself, I'd feel rude if I didn't eat it), drank heaps of water.

    And I just kept really active with the kids, walked a bit faster, and didn't go cranky at myself if I ate something that wasn't exactly healthy. I basically was really strict on myself during the week, and then let up a bit on the weekend.

    But now we're in town so I'm exercising my butt off... literally.
