Default Keratin straightening treatments for thick hair

Hi there. I'm after any first hand advice about if you or anyone you know has thick, wiry hair and have had success with keratin straightening treatments? I have awful hair (and lots of it) and can't even wear it in a ponytail without straightening it!!! It's awful so mainly is rolled up in a bun. I like to have it straightened but barely find the time so wanted to see if this might be an option. Any feedback?

    Tash

I had the Latino Botox for hair done. It was unreal. My hair was also quite damaged and even though the keratin has worn off now (6months if you look after it) my hair is still incredibly healthy. Go for it!

I used to have big boofy thick curly hair.

I do the Japanese straightening. It is permanent and it doesnt wash out after a few months. I have to get the roots done every 5 months or so as the roots grow out curly and the rest is straight.

I definately recommend it. After I wash my hair, I just brush it and leave it and its straight.

Yes it is keratin that one and it does make your hair permanently straight. As above, I was able to was my hair, brush it and end up with a straightened hairstyle.

I paid $300 I think, that was over a year ago now. I would allocate up to $500 though. My hair is layered, and my hairdresser charged me accordingly whereas other places that I looked at quoted me for long hair at full price without taking my short layers into consideration.
