Default Breast Refusal - 9 month old

Hi all . Any advice for a 9 month old bubba who has decided for the last 2 days that he doesn't want a bar of breast feeding? He will happily drink a bottle of expressed milk but just cracks it if I try to feed him. Up until this episode he has been a fantastic feeder.

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated...even though I'm trying to express I'm having trouble getting a lot out and already my boobs feel a bit tender and lumpy and I can only manage 3 bottle of about 180mls per day for him.

    Maybe ring the ABA?

Can you pump to keep your supply up and just keep offering? He might be ready to feed again in a couple of days.

DD did this for about 2 weeks at 9 months. It was teething related. I just kept offering and expressing. She eventually went back to it and we continued until I weaned her at 13 months.

    Good luck

Thanks for your help ladies Well he went 3 days on strike and then 3am this morning he decided he wanted me back - yay! I didn't realize until I fed him this morning how much I had missed feeding him for 3 days.
