You mean like the dip in one?
I use, what I call dip base (250 g philly &300ml sour cream) then add flavour. Most popular is spinich, add 1packet frozen spinich (defrosted and well drained) and one pack sprung vege soup mix, blend well add to hollowed cob loaf , heat for 1 hour at 180
Coming to you from a galaxy far far away.
Bacon & cheese cob
8 rashers of short cut bacon
250g tasty cheese grated
Tub Philly cream cheese
1 onion
Large tub sour cream
Cob
Cook off the bacon & onion in a fry pan
Mix all cheeses & sour cream plus bacon mix in a bowl
Cut the lid off the cob & hollow out
Empty mix in the cob
Put lid back on & place on oven tray with the bread from inside the cob on the tray as well & cook for about 35mins on 140deg, keep an eye on it as you may have to take the lid off so the mixture heats through.
If I'm taking it somewhere I normally put it in the oven at the place I'm going.
It's soooooo good... I want it now!
Mines not a cob loaf but I have 2 that I always do an everyone loves!

1 x pkt spring vegetable soup mix

I would use Barefooted's base and add a tin of creamed corn and chopped ham or bacon and chives. Very moreish.
I make the same as barefooted, but also add fresh chives very yummy
Sent from my HTC Legend using BubHub
just realised mine is exactly the same as barefooteds
subscribing so i can remember the recipes for later.
for the ladies that have done them - do you just tear up the 'filling' of the cod and put in oven for a while to crisp or do you add extra bread, if so how much extra?
