Default Croup in 2 yr old.

Has anyone use prednisolone on their child to treat croup? DD2 was given the medication yesterday with strict instructions to only use it for 3 days. Her cough has improved during the day, but it's still shocking as she sleeps. She's had 2 doses of prednisolone, is a third really going to make a difference?

She's not sucking her chest muscles in as she was yesterday, so it's somewhat an improvement. Steam isn't helping. Anyone got any other suggestions?

I'd definitely give the prescibed amount of doses I have found it to help when my littlies had croup.

Hope she is on the mend soon

    Thank you.

I just wasn't sure that one more dose would do anything when the two she's had have only shown a minor improvement. I'm also a bit freaked out by giving her steroids.
