    Kiri is cute

One name that we both like (for a first name) but cant use is Indy. The reason we cant use it is because our last name is also 2 syllables ending in NDY and it sounds ridiculous

Any suggestions for names with "Indy" in them that could be shortened as a nickname perhaps
Indigo or India? Then you could nickname her Indy ...

Any of the Indi... names are going to be shortened to Indy and will either sound odd with your surname. However, Kiri is an awesome name, you could use Kiri as a 1st name (it would still have the connection with Pakiri and therefore the same meaning to your and DH) and an 'indy' name as a middle name.

With a short first and last name a longer middle name would be nice, how about Kiri Indianna ?

I dont mind Indigo Pakiri, but DH is not sold on it...

I think Smidge had better be a boy, if it is a girl she will probably end up nameless

Still have 3 long weeks until we can find out if we will need a girls name yet....
