so just a quick question all you mum's with little ones. I'm debating over whether to go part time or full time. My situation is that I have three little ones. My oldest is due to start full time school this year and my middle one is at preschool approx 2 days a week. I still have an 18 month old at home and lots of local support in my neighbourhood with babysitting etc... I'm also in regional NSW but will be studying externally through Griffith. This means I will need to organise all of my own placements and will not have any local support as far as study goes. I will be coming up for the intensives, but will unfortunately have to give orientation a miss since it is on the 30th and my firstborn is starting school the next day. I don't think I'd ever forgive myself if I missed her first day . I know that Mary said it was quite important I was there for orientation but I just can't seem to work it out and it's not mandatory. However I will be coming up for the intensives of course. Ahhh! I'll need childcare for my 18month old...any recommendations for that and accommodation close to campus? If I can swing it, might be bringing my 16 year old sister to help out in the childcare department. Anyways, sorry for all the blabber... input is welcome... Very overwhelmed. I never expected to get an offer and so unbelievably over the moon I did. I was told pretty much that it would be near impossible for me to get in straight up!

Congratulations to everyone who got offers

To the girls coming to Griffith - Welcome from me!

thepees, if you cannot make orientation, I wouldn't worry as you can ask the other girls for any info during the intensives.
