Yeah people took offense to the doctor singing about how when he's on shift CTG's "behave" and pelvic organs un-prolapse etc and to the fact that supposedly he thought "because he was an OB his presence could control uteruses and vaginas" etc.

But seriously, I will defend a woman's right to her control her own body, make her own decisions, have her baby however she wants to do and will fight against those who don't respect those decisions but I swear there must be some people in the world that just look for things to complain about!!!

Besides we all know that one midwife or registrar who is a total sh!t magnet and you just groan when you come into shift with them because you just know something ridiculous is going to walk through that door, why can't be there be that person who is a total awesome magnet?

I loved the almost hand shake switch to hand wash. Today in class we were talking about having a firm hand shake and they are always talking about the importance of a hand washing. I loled at that part :-)

I would start them now, when I started the hep b shots it is 1 shot, 1 a month later and then 1 5 months after that. I didnt need to have them completed to start the course but if work placements get offered to the tafe they said they will give them first to people that are fully immunised. So never too early to start getting them.

I'm currently doing the diploma. We have to have had at least one shot of heb b before prac along with the others.
